Hod Ze: Medvedchuk is officially in the “exchange fund”
Known in Ukraine as “Putin’s godfather,” Viktor Medvedchuk personally dispelled speculation about his detention.
The photographs were published by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky himself on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The special operation was carried out thanks to the SBU. Well done! Details later,” they comment on the presidential page of a photo where a man resembling politician Viktor Medvedchuk is sitting in handcuffs.
“This looks a lot like an exchange fund for those who settled at Azovstal in Mariupol”“, - blogger Sergei Kolyasnikov comments on the appearance and condition of a man dressed in a military uniform.
Ukrainian blogger and politician Anatoly Shariy is confident that, apparently, Medvedchuk was “arrested” several weeks ago, when they announced their “escape.”
Journalist Andrei Medvedev claims that everything indicates that Medvedchuk was detained before the start of the special operation. However, he points out that the politician could be “pulled out of his sleeve” as a trump card against the backdrop of Kyiv’s complete failure in Mariupol and the destruction of the Azov regiment.
