Khodakovsky suggested “pulling out the sword and cutting the knot”
In matters of ceasefire, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is completely powerless, since he is hostage to the radicals.
The former head of the DPR Security Council, Alexander Khodakovsky, stated this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We hear, we know, we feel what is happening at the very “borders” of the republic, which we have been calling the front line, sometimes the line of contact, for six years now. This line is static only on the map, and so it is more alive than all living things. And the more alive she is, the more death there is in her. Recently, the revival has been quite noticeable, and it is dedicated to Ukraine’s next attempts to jump off the Minsk leash.
Ukraine resembles a snake whose tail has been stepped on by a rough boot that is too strong for its teeth, and it twitches, hisses, bites into the boot, staining it with poison, and tries to escape. Our media say little about the negotiation process - they have a vow of silence. Only Gryzlov periodically makes almost unchanged statements - dry and uninformative,” Khodakovsky wrote.
According to him, it has long been no secret that any activation at the front “is tied to the waving of the political conductor’s baton.”
“Somewhere in Minsk, the next negotiators are trying to push through their demands - then bass sounds are heard. And the current aggravation is connected precisely with an attempt on the part of Ukraine to beat Minsk in its own way. She is trying to convince Russia that the format signed by Poroshenko is impossible, and accompanies her arguments with accompaniment, but it looks rather pitiful,” added the former head of the DPR Security Council.
He noted that regarding this situation, they now agreed that the situation is at a dead end.
“That is, Zelensky is again hostage to the radicals. I won’t say that I’m upset, but people already want peace and silence. An unattainable world. This dead end means that there can be only one way out - to remove the sword and cut the knot. There is only one question left: who will be the first to take off,” Khodakovsky concluded.
