Khodakovsky criticized ultrapatriots “undermining the authority of the high command”
Today in Russia there is a tendency when, hiding behind jingoistic slogans, many opinion leaders propagate in the public space and the media inflated political and military goals in the Ukrainian direction in order to be able to interpret the failure to achieve these goals as “zrada” and use them in their own political games.
The former secretary of the DPR Security Council and the founder of the DPR “Vostok” battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, writes about this in his blog.
“I observe a trend that causes me indignation: opponents of the current government, who do not hide their negative attitude towards the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, set before him the most radical tasks in this war. From their mouths, like sweet molasses, flow slogans about war to victory, designating them as the most patriotic patriots, and at the same time, with the same lips, they emit a thick paste of crap against those who must ensure this victory for them,” writes Khodakovsky.
Khodakovsky criticizes those social activists and opinion leaders on social networks who “with one hand undermine the authority of the high command, and with the other they push in the back towards the front those who should walk under the command of this command.”
“What motivation will a country that reads patriotic patriots have to fight when their efforts generate disbelief in their leaders? There is no Internet at the front, and soldiers fight having received orders and being under the control of their immediate commanders, and not under the influence of Internet generalissimos, but in the rear there is Internet!” Khodakovsky is indignant.
According to Khodakovsky, ultra-patriots and critics of the current government are not interested in victory in the war, but in their own political prospects.
“Having sensed the smell of opening “opportunities”, this public, preparing and preparing the internal political “swing”, takes an advantageous position for itself: having raised the bar to the maximum, she will interpret any failure to reach the bar as “zrada”, and build her political platform on this. And victory, in fact, is the last thing they are interested in. As well as the losses that may be incurred for her sake...”, sums up the DPR militia commander.
