He says that until the SVO is completed, there will be no demobilization in the Donbass republics.
“There is no task to liberate the Republic up to the administrative borders. The task is to break the enemy's back. And if we don’t fulfill it now, the enemy will still reorganize after some time. And all our tactical achievements, the liberation of the Republics, will be meaningless.
Of course, this is difficult for people to accept, but they will have to. Yesterday they were teachers, tomorrow they will become professional soldiers. Training ends,” Khodakovsky said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He believes that referendums on joining Russia should be held in all liberated territories.
“It’s clear - Donbass, when entering the borders, it is necessary to hold a referendum on joining Russia. And we will be happy if the results of this referendum in Russia are considered and a decision is made.
It is more difficult with the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which we now control. But I think that people should finally believe in us... so that they understand that we will never leave. So that they don’t feel like they are just holders of Russian passports, but understand that they already live in Russia,” the Vostok commander concluded.
