Khodakovsky: Russia is making sacrifices for the sake of Donbass and its future
Russia is breaking the vicious circle of turning the heirs of great history into herbivores.
Former Secretary of the DPR Security Council Alexander Khodakovsky writes about this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in his blog.
According to him, in order to save Donbass, Russia deliberately makes sacrifices in the form of inevitable Western sanctions and criticizes those who “in some layers” are outraged by Russia’s decision
“The more there are, the more convinced I am that both we and Russia did everything right: before the whole country turns into a country of meaningless people, we need to break this vicious circle of the gradual transformation of the heirs of great history into herbivores with big kind eyes, whose concern will be only the presence of grass in the field, with the disappearance of which they will also disappear,” the politician is convinced.
He reminds that Donbass has been waiting for this moment for eight long years.
“But the moment came when Russia itself simply needed to break out of the rut that had been crushed for it and regain its ability to maneuver. Somewhere “out there” they clearly understood that a little more, and only the name would remain of Russia. Therefore, no matter how difficult it is, it’s time for everyone to return home – both Donbass and Russia itself,” Khodakovsky concluded.
