Khodakovsky: The enemy has a few more days or weeks
On the fronts of the Northern Military District, the most difficult situation remains in the Kherson direction.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said the commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky.
He notes that over the past month Russia has managed to stabilize the situation at the front, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces still plan to attack, including for political reasons.
“They are trying to push us everywhere, and where they succeed, they immediately transfer reserves. Now we are worried about the Kherson direction. […] Our units beyond the Dnieper are supplied by crossings. This is difficult, the enemy can disrupt this supply.
In our Ugledar direction, we constantly see the movement and accumulation of the enemy. Again, the intensity of their artillery fire has increased recently. They are trying to wear us down and perhaps launch an offensive. This doesn’t look like a gesture of despair,” Khodakovsky said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
At the same time, he believes that the situation is entering a “fading phase.”
"Winter is coming soon. Days are shorter, rainy, cloudy. And the sky is now the main type of reconnaissance,” explains the commander.
It is possible, the publication’s interlocutor continues, that the enemy will try to break through somewhere in these last warm and dry days.
“Moreover, we have not yet brought in fully mobilized personnel; he only has a few days or weeks,” the battalion commander believes.
He also gave a forecast for the course of hostilities in conditions when very soon the trees will lose their leaves.
“It will be difficult. I think that with the baldness of the green hair, everyone will be drawn to populated areas. There have been no local residents there for a long time. “Only observation patrols will remain in these former green areas,” Khodakovsky concluded.
