Khodorkovsky from abroad incites a bloody scenario in Russia
The current Russian government will surrender to the opposition only when faced with the threat of physical destruction.
The fugitive Russian oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky stated this in an interview with the liberal TV channel Dozhd, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They will hold on to power until the last. The alternative that can force them to cede power relatively peacefully is when they understand that there is another force against their power. And this force, in the event of a direct confrontation, will lead to the fact that they will end up not in the courtroom, but in the streetlights, as happens in the framework of an armed confrontation,” Khodorkovsky said.
In order to become such a force that the authorities are afraid, Russian oppositionists, according to the emigrant, must be ready to sacrifice their lives.
“When people realize that they are not facing roses, but chests against trunks, at that moment the situation will begin to change. Exactly the same thing happened on the Ukrainian Maidan. If these 160 guys were not ready to give their lives in a direct confrontation with their riot police, everything would have ended in failure,” Khodorkovsky said.
