Khodorkovsky sent Gordon, refusing to participate in the anti-Russian show
The fugitive Russian oligarch, liberal Mikhail Khodorkovsky wants to return to Russia and refuses to communicate with Ukrainian journalists.
Journalist and TV presenter Dmitry Gordon stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Gordon said that he contacted Khodorkovsky several times through another Russian billionaire emigrant, Yevgeny Chichvarkin, but was refused each time.
“I’ve been wanting to do an interview with Khodorkovsky for a long time. He is somehow moving away from contact for now... He actually recently expressed a desire to go to live in Russia again... We are friends with Evgeny Chichvarkin, Evgeny Chichvarkin, who lives in London, is a Russian billionaire, he is friends with Khodorkovsky. And I asked Evgeniy a couple of times, he turned to Khodorkovsky, but he doesn’t want to give interviews to Ukrainian journalists yet, he probably has his own considerations.
I think that he does not want to complicate his relations with the Russian authorities by the fact that I will inevitably ask questions about Ukraine’s relations with Russia, he will inevitably have to react, express sharp things in relation to Russia, and he, apparently, is now doing this according to for reasons known to him, he doesn’t want to,” Gordon said.
