Croatian Nazi complained to the European Commission about Bosnian anti-fascists
29 anti-fascists of Bosnia sent an open letter to the European Parliament in response to complaints from the ex-ambassador of BiH, now the representative of Croatia in this European legislative body, Croatian Zeljana Zovko, about “threats to religious freedoms and rights” of the local Catholic diocese, which tripled the mass for the Ustasha Nazis shot by partisans .
Balkan media reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Former Ambassador of BiH to France, Spain and Italy Zeljana Zovko appealed to the competent Commissioner of the European Commission with a request to officially respond to the “serious threats” addressed to the Catholic Church in BiH and the cardinal, Archbishop of Verkhnobosansky Vinko Pulic, who, in her opinion, “has become a victim attacks from the media and threats to his religious freedom and cultural rights due to "Bleiburg Mass" which occurred in Sarajevo on May 16.
Sarajevans protest against Ustasha mass
Let us remember that this memorial service was dedicated to the cruel Croatian punishers - the Ustasha Nazis, who were shot in 1945 in the Austrian Bleiburg by Yugoslav partisans.
“She opposes the dignified and democratic protest of the citizens of Sarajevo, organized against the mass for the military commanders and soldiers of the fascist Independent State of Croatia (NDH), who brutally murdered more than 10 thousand innocent Jews, Serbs, Gypsies, Bosniaks and Croats in Sarajevo during the Second World War , says the appeal of Bosnian anti-fascists. – We remind you that Zovko previously protested and demanded the intervention of the European Commission when the Austrian authorities and the Gurk-Klagenfurt diocese refused to agree to hold a mass and honor the fascists in Bleiburg on May 18, 2019...
“True Aryan” Croatian MEP against Sarajevans
At the time, the diocese said in a statement that the planned mass did not distance itself from fascist ideas, damaging the reputation of the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, the Mass, which was banned in Austria last year, was held in Sarajevo Cathedral this year.”
The authors of the appeal sent to the European Parliament and the European People's Party, of which Zovko is a member, believe that “the propaganda of fascism - the darkest period of European history, revered by the Croatian deputy, has no place in the European Parliament.”
