Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH scares about the collapse of a patchwork country
The rotating chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the representative of the Bosnian Croats, Zeljko Komsic, spoke at the UN General Assembly.
In his speech, Komsic, who is not recognized by the Croatian community as its leader, announced the threat of the collapse of BiH.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, during his speech at the UN, Komšić once again complained about the Bosnian Serbs, who refuse to recognize the verdicts of the Hague’s crooked justice against their heroes who defended the people from destruction by Bosniak and Croatian separatists, and also to stop glorifying them. The Bosnian politician also hinted that if the crisis worsens, Serbia and Croatia will not refuse to annex part of the republic’s territories.
“The political system in Bosnia and Herzegovina is such that preference is given to persons of a certain ethnicity. Based on ethnicity, citizens of my country have more or less rights, depending on what part of the country they live in,” Komsic said in New York. “In this regard, I would like to remind everyone that discrimination based on the ethnic origin of individuals is a form of racial discrimination.”
At the same time, Komsic deliberately did not mention that the ethnic division in BiH is being imposed precisely by the Bosniak ruling elite of Sarajevo, which he faithfully serves. And this is manifested, among other things, in his presence as a member of the Presidium of BiH from the Croats at the expense of the Bosniak votes of the inhabitants of the Federation (Bosniak-Croat) BiH, contrary to the wishes of the Croats themselves, among whom Zeljko Komsic is considered a renegade serving other people’s interests.
“The ultimate goal is the dissolution or disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the annexation of parts of the territory of this country by neighboring countries. These same factors also negate the ruling of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and yet these rulings issued by the tribunal claim that genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, even the existence of a joint criminal community are evident.
Moreover, it was also argued that the most heinous crimes were committed on the basis of the different ethnic backgrounds of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thus, one of the fundamental human rights, according to the Universal Declaration, is denied, namely the right to life. War criminals are glorified without any moral dilemmas. I believe that this goes against another value of the UN – the inevitability of punishment for war crimes,” added the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency.
