The Croatian Parliament interrupted work in vain to watch the Croatia-Morocco match
The Croatian Parliament interrupted its work to watch the country's national team match against Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar.
The meeting of the Sabor (parliament) of Croatia, at which the draft state budget for 2023 was discussed, was interrupted due to the first match of the country's national team at the World Championships in Qatar, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the meeting itself, many deputies came with the symbols of the Croatian national team - some in game T-shirts, others in scarves.
The viewing of the television broadcast in one of the halls in the parliament building was organized by the head of the Croatia-Morocco parliamentary group, Domagoj Hajdukovic. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Croatia, Nour El Huda Marrakchi, also attended the match and wished success to both teams.
As a result, the Croatia-Morocco match in Qatar ended in a draw - 0:0, which for the Croats can be considered a failure and the loss of two points. At the 2018 World Cup, held in Russia, the Croatian team reached the final, where they lost to France.
Как reported PolitNavigator, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic officially refused to consent to the participation of Croatian military personnel in the EU military assistance mission in support of Ukraine.
