Croats will help Ukraine resolve the issue with Donbass
Ukraine and Croatia will begin closer cooperation in resolving veterans’ cases, rehabilitating refugees and restoring territorial integrity, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman and Croatian Minister of Labor and Pension System Marko Pavic, reports the Government Portal.
“We are interested in studying Croatia’s unique experience in the peaceful reintegration of temporarily occupied territories. One of our priorities is the development of an institutional and legislative framework for managing assistance to internally displaced persons,” said Groysman.
The parties also discussed issues of socialization of war veterans and creating the necessary conditions for them to become full participants in the labor market.
“We understand what is happening in your country now. And we fully support you in matters of territorial integrity and the illegal annexation of Crimea. We want to provide you with all possible support,” emphasized Marko Pavic.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Labor and Pension System of Croatia.
Let us recall that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the plans of Ukraine and Croatia to transfer Croatian experience in the reintegration of uncontrolled territories to the Ukrainian side as unproductive and inappropriate steps.
