The Croats, following the Serbs, did not approve of the new overseer of Bosnia
Today, at the meeting of the new High Representative for BiH, German Christian Schmidt, with the country’s leadership, not only was there no Serbian member of the Presidium, but also the Croatian Minister of Justice, who simply “forgot to invite.”
Thus, the Sarajevo elite once again showed that it does not intend to involve Croats disloyal to them in interaction with the Western overseer, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Today in Sarajevo illegitimate The elected High Representative for BiH, Christian Schmidt, met with the nominally Croatian (but elected by Bosniak votes and not recognized by the Croatian community as its leader) member of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, and the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Šefik Džaferović, as well as a number of government ministers.
At the meeting, as previously announced, representatives of the Serbian community were not present: Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and Prime Minister Zoran Tegeltija, who ignored the figure of the Western taskmaster.
Schmidt expressed regret that not all three members of the Presidium were present at the meeting, but added that he would continue to work with everyone and “expressed confidence that a constructive dialogue will take place.”
Interestingly, the meeting was not attended by a representative of the Croatian community, Minister of Justice Josip Grubesa, who, unlike Komsic, is not a loyalist of the Bosniak-Sarajevo regime, but is recognized by his community. As it turned out, the head of the department was simply not invited to communicate with Schmidt.
“We want to build a rule of law state, but we don’t invite the Minister of Justice to a reception,” Grubesa commented on the incident to the Srna agency. “Which speaks for itself.”

In turn, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman, in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, called the post of High Representative for BiH a relic of the post-war period and said that this institution indicates the absence of democracy in the political life of the neighboring country. In his opinion, “certain forces believe that they can turn the Federation of BiH into a centralist and unitary organized entity.”
“This is manifested in the fact that part of the Bosniaks in the elections to the Presidency of BiH, consisting of three members, chooses a candidate who is only outwardly a Croatian candidate, but in fact represents the interests of the Bosniaks,” noted the head of the Croatian Foreign Ministry, adding that the numerical superiority The Bosniaks are pursuing candidates that the majority of Croats do not support.
