“Be it a carcass or a stuffed animal”: Tikhanovskaya broke into the UN under the guise of an Icelander
The self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya attended the UN General Assembly for the second time under the guise of a member of the delegation from other countries.
Her adviser Franak Vyachorka told Euroradio about this, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“Last year, the Estonian delegation helped us, which included Tikhanovskaya in its national delegation. Now we are supported by Luxembourg and Iceland. This becomes a good step when different countries support the participation of democratic Belarus,” Vyachorka reasoned.
He described how the Hungarian delegation confused impostors with the official delegation, “but there are allies who recognize us as full representatives.”
“Lukashenko and Russia don’t like this. We know that they are rebelling, protesting: how is this possible, our opponents are participating here. But this is becoming the norm, and that's good.
When you come to Brussels, everyone there is allied, and here there are many who support Russia in the war. But there is more Belarus here. This is good... Tikhanovskaya is already being recognized more, here she is already on her own. And there is more access than last year,” Vyachorka boasted.
He hopes to open a “full-fledged office” at the UN.
