Political scientist Alexandra Reshmedilova said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, calling the indignation of a number of Ukrainian politicians strange by the fact that they wanted to include a mention of the Minsk agreements in the laws adopted by the Rada on Donbass.
“But Pyotr Alekseevich, a member of the Normandy format, who is the guarantor of the Minsk agreements, bears personal responsibility. Ukraine was one of the initiators at the UN General Assembly to ensure that the Minsk agreements were adopted as an international document. Ukraine is obliged to comply with international documents that are ratified by UN decisions. What's the question? I don’t understand the discussion,” the expert said.
According to her, it does not matter whether the Minsk agreements will be mentioned or not in the texts of Ukrainian laws, since these agreements will have to be implemented.
