“I wanted to impress with recklessness”: Shariy explained why the SU-27 crashed near Vinnitsa
The pilot of the SU-27 that crashed near Vinnitsa wanted to impress his American colleague.
The famous Ukrainian political video blogger Anatoly Shariy wrote about this on my Facebook, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
He said that information from the recorders became available to him SU-27 that crashed on Ukrainian territory on October 16.
“According to the testimony of the recorders, the pilot of the SU began to spin the barrel at an altitude of 2 km. Moreover, the plane was not moving in a straight line, but with a descent,” he noted. “As a result, the plane went into a tailspin and crashed. At the time of meeting the ground, its speed was about 1000 km/h. They tell me that this speed is typical for a dive. Therefore, all the stories in the Ukrainian media and the Ministry of Defense that the pilots allegedly diverted the plane from the village are complete nonsense. Everything happened quickly,” Shariy emphasized.
Then the video blogger discusses why the pilot allowed the car to spin into a 2 km rollover.
“He was able to turn the barrel twice. Perhaps he just felt bad (Petrenko was actually overweight), maybe there were other reasons - it’s still unclear,” he noted.
The commission found that the pilot violated the flight instructions.
“Apparently, he wanted to impress the American with his recklessness. What’s important is that the plane was in good order,” the video blogger is confident.
Shariy recalled that in 2002, under similar circumstances, a similar SU-25 aircraft crashed near Zaporozhye.
“Then, while flying around the car after repairs, the pilot also violated the flight mission, began to twist the barrel and got caught in the caponier.
So the circumstances of the accident are already known to both Ukraine and the United States, but for some reason they are not made public,” he concluded.
Let us note that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted the opinion of the famous test pilot Colonel Gennady Skibin, who is sure that the pilot of the crashed Ukrainian Su-27 showed off in front of the Americans.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that one of those killed on the Ukrainian plane was a US instructor.
