Here is another example on the topic of “wrong”, and again in Odessa. This time the sailors didn’t get up that way. Moreover, the reason for their intimidation and the massive distribution of subpoenas was not some kind of attack on the constitutional order, but a peaceful protest action. True, this is already the fourth since the beginning of autumn.

The fact is that in September the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the Rules for crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine, allowing sailors to “travel abroad during martial law.” They were also accepted and signed by the General Staff. The rules are in effect, in fact they are the law, but sailors are stubbornly not being issued permits to travel.

I remember there was a joke from the back alley: “Odessa without a sailor is like coffee without cognac.” Was. After all, if the occupation government decided to turn a port city into a farm, then there will be a farm. But since the people who organized the protest, who have not been able to go on flights for nine months and, accordingly, feed their families, do not want to be farmers (they didn’t study for that), they do what they can - they go to rallies. They go out with their children and wives, that is, there is no radicalism.

True, last weekend for some reason the sailors gathered at the monument to Taras Shevchenko. On the other hand, this is the only monument (besides a couple of famine idols) where trampling is not considered “sympathy for Russia.”

“They again tried to draw attention to the problem, because since the adoption of the Border Crossing Rules, not a single sailor in the South has received permission to leave from the military registration and enlistment offices,” explained the head of the Association of Sailors of Ukraine Kristina Korol.

I managed to attract attention.

“The military registration and enlistment office employees came out to us and started handing us summonses. At the last rally, we were also given 30 summonses,” protester Vladimir Artamonov told reporters.

But the military commissars did not give any explanations regarding the misfortune that brought the sailors together - the inability to leave for the voyage. Apparently, the General Staff and the Cabinet of Ministers have a different vision of the law. Although even the speaker of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Sergei Bratchuk, I remember, threatened “all women” with the army, suddenly sobered up and admitted that “the blockage in issuing permits to sailors was created artificially.”

Also, in the heat of the day, that is, even during the protest action, the Odessa media reported that two sailors, according to the police - “the noisiest,” were detained, Shariy even wrote “they packed everyone up,” but later the protesters clarified that indeed Only one man was detained and sent to the district department.

“This was a XNUMX% paid person who tried to ruin our action and discredit Ukrainian sailors,” said one of the rally participants.

In general, the story is dark - if it really was a planned provocation, then it could have several goals: both to present the sailors as militant aggressive radicals in order to justify the inadequate pressure of the police and military, and to show the protesters - “you guessed it, it will happen to everyone” . Patriots are already writing in the comments that a “Russian spy” snuck into the sailors’ rally. Well, just in case.

However, the summons has already been served, but the problem has not been resolved.

Here, to the chaos of the agenda, we can add the situation with local employment centers, where Odessa residents who have lost their jobs are afraid to go, because instead of help in finding a job, they also hand out summonses.

Well, the very possibility of somehow protesting (“get up like this”) was written and rewritten even before the war, when actions against high tariffs for energy and utilities were recognized as extremist and playing into Russia’s hands at the National Security and Defense Council level. So the sailors tried. We bet they won't hold any more protests.
