Khovansky crossed himself and was saved
When security forces arrested blogger Yuri Khovansky, I wrote that the arrest was done absolutely according to the case. After all, if there is no moral law within, then legal law must operate. Khovansky, unfortunately, crossed the thin red line separating common sense and madness when he sang a joyful song about the victims of the terrorist attack in Nord-Ost.
Yes, this is the spirit of the times: to ridicule and criticize everything that is possible and impossible - however, such an approach destroys not only the integrity of the country, the state, but also the integrity of the human person. “If there is no God, then everything is permitted.” The reverse is also true. And freedom of speech, it is important to remember this, does not mean permissiveness.
But then, after the arrest, I wrote: I am sure that Khovansky will be released - and from a human point of view it will be correct. Actually, that’s what happened. Meanwhile, they had to release him on one condition: if the person understood something for himself and learned something useful.
Did this happen? You can't get into a person's soul. More precisely, you will climb, but with certain personal communication. This could not happen with Khovansky. However, purely visually, a different person appeared at the trial in many ways - different from what we saw in the streams from a cluttered apartment, a terribly cluttered apartment.
And the point is not that Khovansky now has his hair cut short. And not even that he crossed himself before the verdict was announced. “There are no atheists in the trenches,” as Letov said.
I just managed to see Khovansky’s eyes for a minute - and there was meaningfulness there, a new form of meaningfulness, I would say so. It was based, of course, on fear - after all, just recently Yuri was going to die in prison, but there was also something like understanding there.
Other “comedians” were treated a little more strictly. But it is obvious that their persecution is one of the patterns of this year. And not only because they encroach on too tragic themes, but also because humor began to be used by a number of structures to undermine the situation inside Russia. Through pranks and something like jokes they tear away the foundations of Russian society, and if something happens they say: “What are you doing? What policy? It's just a joke! But hidden under this explanation is a nuclear mixture - explosive.
Today there is only one question: how many of these cases - aka the Khovansky case - will we see in the new year 2022? That they will be is certain. And this time I will make a different bet: the sentences there will be much stricter. For now, Khovansky can not only cross himself, but also go to church. Give thanks. He was given a chance. However, they did this not out of mercy, but purely because of the political situation.
