“Master of Transcarpathia” Baloga starts a war with Poroshenko
Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga, whom the press calls the informal “master of Transcarpathia,” began an open information war with Petro Poroshenko, sensing a threat from Kyiv.

The reason was Petro Poroshenko’s recent statement about the possibility of large-scale personnel purges in government agencies in the Transcarpathian region. “The clans that divided Transcarpathia and actually created a threat to state power should get hit in the teeth and end up in prison. No one will protect anyone from the effective actions of the authorities,” the president said in an interview with ICTV channel
Victor Baloga also commented on the recent statement by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal that since 2005 not a single serious investment project has been implemented in the region.
“For example, they say that since 2005, not a single investment project has been implemented in the region. Although in 2012, in Mukachevo, the Singaporean giant Flextronics invested $24500000 in launching a modern electronics manufacturing line. Hundreds of people got jobs. Is this not an investment project? Show me at least one such plant that was launched during the year of operation of this government.
Simply, with such statements, the authorities are creating the image of Transcarpathia as an underdeveloped sewer, where primitive people live who only know how to carry cigarettes across the border. If you constantly talk from TV, savages live in Transcarpathia, then no one will come here anymore.
If you, dear ones, decide to fight with me, fight. But don’t ruin Transcarpathia, don’t spoil the reputation of the entire region for the sake of fighting me. Therefore, as you came, so you will go. And we live here,” Baloga wrote on his page.
