Economic Westerners are dragging “souvenirs” from the ATO zone
Kharkov, November 26 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – At a checkpoint near Izyum, Kharkov region, law enforcement officers detained two cars in which grenades, grenade launchers and ammunition were transported.

“In the evening, while on duty, police officers stopped an Iveco car. In the car there were a 50-year-old driver and a 52-year-old passenger, both residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. During the inspection of the car, two RGD-5 grenades and 60 rounds of 7,62 caliber ammunition were discovered and seized. The men were detained,” the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
A few hours later, law enforcement officers stopped a Volkswagen car driven by a 52-year-old resident of Lvov, who was moving from the ATO zone.
“In the cabin there was a 46-year-old passenger, also a resident of the Lvov region, in whom, during the inspection, a loaded RPG-18 grenade launcher, 6 hand grenades and 176 rounds of small arms ammunition were found and seized from his personal belongings. The suspect has now been detained,” police said.
On both facts, investigators from the investigative department of the Izyum District District Office opened criminal proceedings.
Let us remind you that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the removal of weapons and ammunition from the ATO zone will be punishable by criminal liability.
