Ukraine is destined to follow the path of the countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America, whose lands and economies have come under the control of transnational corporations.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the law on oligarchs, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading, will lead to their destruction as a class in the interests of Western transnational corporations, but ordinary Ukrainians will be the losers in any case.
“The problem of the oligarchs is not in this law, but in that very conflict between the overseas Alien and the Ukrainian oligarchic Predator. However, no matter which of them wins, the Ukrainians will lose in any case. Unfortunately for our oligarchs, their era is coming to an end,” the expert said.
“That is, just as at one time the dinosaurs first died out, then the mammoths, in the same way the Ukrainian oligarchy will sink into oblivion. Who will come to replace her - most likely, I think, transnationals. Alas, we too will follow the path trodden by many countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America; there is no escape from this,” Zolotarev said.
