“You will wheeze from the sanctions!” – Kovtun threw an enchanting hysteria on Russian air
Europe will cave in under the United States and in less than a year Russia will be suffocating under the weight of American sanctions.
Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun stated this on the air of the “Meeting Place” program on the NTV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The parade and Bolton on Independence Day are a symbol of America’s support for today’s Ukraine and, first of all, President Poroshenko. This is a signal that the United States is looking for a new candidate in the upcoming presidential elections. It seems to me that those who represent the American administration will not bet on anyone other than Poroshenko.
This all shows where US policy will move. It is not for nothing that the Russian government and Prime Minister Medvedev signed a decree on a strategy to counter American sanctions for the next 10-15 years. You understand that this “cold war” will not end tomorrow,” Kovtun said.
“Is Europe changing its attitude? Nothing like this! When Juncker (head of the European Commission - aut.) went to America, it became clear that Europe had caved in and would do what the United States said. This means: sanctions and more sanctions! You keep saying that it will be March 31, 2019. I can say: you will already wheeze from the sanctions and gasp for air, because they will not stop!” – the Ukrainian political scientist became hysterical.
At the same time, as Vladislav Belov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, previously stated, Nord Stream 2 will be launched despite Trump's sanctions and US blackmail in relation to all countries participating in the gas pipeline project.
