Bodies wheezing in agony in the corridor - the journalist described the terrible everyday life of a Kyiv hospital

“I was in the hospital in the Kharkov massif in the evening. It's not crowded. It is flooded with bodies. In the therapy corridors there are so-called “sitting” places, because the wards have long been packed. In just one small corridor I counted three wheezing old men who were unlikely to last until the morning. Naturally, everything needs to be bought. Indian dying place, not a hospital. There are probably some little “Mother Teresas” here too. But they are unlikely to save this world of ours,” the journalist describes what he saw.
“Europe has a problem with population aging. It looks like we won't have this problem. Only the text of the litany needs to be finalized. Since most people won’t be able to achieve a “painless” death, at least a “quick” one? Local samsara begins in a ragged school with psychopathic teachers, and ends in this regional dying place. Between them is a crooked, overcrowded minibus, hobbling along a broken road. And if we want to change this universe of ours, then we need to start with schools and hospitals. And don’t forget about the road between them,” Rechinsky comes to the conclusion.
