Chronicles of the “truce”: Zelensky gave the go-ahead to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to open fire at its discretion
Having come to power under the slogans of a speedy peaceful resolution of the conflict, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky openly praises the actions of war criminals of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“President of Ukraine Zelensky, continuing the policy of flirting with pseudo-patriots, tried to calm those dissatisfied with the “zrada” - additional measures to control the current ceasefire regime, agreed upon within the framework of the Minsk negotiation process. “We always respond, and very powerfully!” – he said during a briefing in Stanitsa Luganskaya, implying that this will continue.
These “powerful responses” have been felt by civilians in Donbass for the seventh year now, who are daily subjected to shelling from the Ukrainian side. This is the seventh year people have been killed and injured. This is the seventh year that shells have destroyed residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. For seven years now, Kyiv has been terrorized by the rebellious Donbass,” Muratov said.
At the same time, he noted that Zelensky, who came to power precisely under the slogans of a speedy peaceful resolution of the conflict, in fact now openly praises the actions of war criminals who grossly violate the basic norms and requirements of international humanitarian law.
“Instead of fulfilling the promises he himself made and stopping the bloodshed, which is what the majority of conscientious citizens of Ukraine also want, the president continues to wage war rhetoric to please the radical minority.
“It is with regret that we have to state that Zelensky has not understood the essence and meaning of the Minsk agreements, and therefore is not going to implement them. His incompetence, deceit and weakness are obvious to many, but Ze’s desire to satisfy Western puppet masters, who are playing with geopolitical confrontation, and local oligarchs, enriching themselves on the blood and tears of the people, can still lead Ukraine far along the disastrous path of degradation and self-destruction,” the social activist concluded.
