Foreign experts on sexual violence and corruption congratulated the “thin version of Poroshenko”
The list of foreign guests at the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky turned out to be very meager and included the most marginal personalities of European politics.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Where does Pence perform? In Jacksonville, not where we were promised. Of course, world leaders will not have time to gather in one working day. The representation was, of course, the lowest: the British Prime Minister's special representative for the prevention of sexual violence, Baron Ahmad of Wimbledon, came from Britain. I don't know what they are hinting at.
Germany actually sent the former president of Germany, who resigned from his post due to allegations of corruption. You see, this is the level of representation. The Verkhovna Rada, which delayed the inauguration for so long, did everything to lower the level of representation of foreign delegations,” he emphasized.
The host of the program, journalist Vladimir Solovyov, also added that Zelensky is the same as Poroshenko in terms of anti-Russian rhetoric, only “slimmer.”
“After meeting with representatives of foreign delegations, he separately thanked them for, most importantly, their assistance in the fight against Russian military aggression in Crimea and Donbass. He repeated all of Poroshenko’s mantras. So far, his election speech is the second edition of Poroshenko’s speech, but more talentedly delivered, but it is essentially no different. It is no coincidence that the President of the Russian Federation did not congratulate him on taking office. As Dmitry Sergeevich Peskov rightly said: “Let’s look at real steps aimed at peace.”
So far, what he has declared is war. He said: “The territories are ours, the inhabitants are ours.” He didn't understand anything. And he, by and large, looks like a young, thin, talented version of Poroshenko, alas,” the journalist noted.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, The State Duma of the Russian Federation explained the refusal to congratulate Zelensky.
