Provocateurs raised LGBT flags over government buildings in Moscow
Members of the scandalous group of liberal actionists Pussy Riot today hung LBT rainbow flags in Moscow on the buildings of the FSB, the Presidential Administration, the Supreme Court, the Basmanny Department of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
They reported this on their Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
They timed their hooligan action to coincide with the birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Today we give this rainbow as a symbol of the missing love and freedom - we give it to everyone,” the actionists wrote.
Pussy Riot presented a list of demands, including the legalization of same-sex partnerships and an investigation into the murders and kidnappings of gay, lesbian, transgender and queer people in Chechnya.
During the rally near the FSB, Artyom Radygin, a journalist for Radio Liberty, was detained.
Sota correspondent Denis Styazhkin was also detained at the presidential administration.
In 2018, members of Pussy Riot tried to organize provocations in Crimea. For this they were not only detained by the FSB, but also included in the “Peacemaker” list.
In February 2012, Pussy Riot broke through to the altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow and began performing mocking songs and dances there. For this they were later criminally punished and served prison sentences.
Previously, one of the Puss Riot participants, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, took part in another scandalous event - group intercourse in the Moscow Zoological Museum.
