Khuntari named countries helping to continue the war in Donbass
Poland and Turkey are helping Ukraine to abandon Soviet-style army components, supplying their army products in return.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Sergei Pashinsky said this on air on the ZIK TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is part of the Soviet one, we must remember this. The Soviet Union built its system, as it understood itself, to take over the entire world. Indeed, Ukraine’s cooperation with Russian and Belarusian military-industrial complex enterprises was absolute.
Indeed, in 2014 there were colossal problems. The strategy of our state is to abandon these components step by step, make analogues, and look for imports, which is what we are doing.
And a lot has been done. Moreover, our latest models of military equipment have already been made, where localization is: made in Ukraine, and we get spare parts in Poland, relatively speaking, in Turkey, and so on,” Pashinsky said.
