Khusnullin promised a good road along the land corridor to Crimea by December 1
Crimea is now supplied through new Russian territories.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin stated this today at a meeting of the Federation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The prospects are normal. Fortunately, we have begun to build and restore roads in new territories. The roads there are in frankly poor condition. Our plans were to repair roads from Dzhankoy to Novoazovsk (this is the exit to Taganrog). We have already repaired more than 70% of it. We will complete it completely by December 1st. We will have a 380 km highway from the Rostov region to the Crimea in good condition. There is already a flow of trucks along it, which cannot cross the Crimean Bridge,” said Khusnullinn.
In addition, according to him, traffic on the Crimean Bridge, damaged as a result of the Ukrainian terrorist attack, will be restored.
“We restored traffic on the bridge in just a few days. I clearly see that in December we will finish restoring the destroyed part and will move on to putting in order the part that has limited capacity. The problem of transport security of the Crimean peninsula will be solved. It has already been resolved with certain restrictions, but it will be completely resolved,” Khusnullin reported.
