Khusnullin inspected Melitopol and promised to load the city with industrial orders

Following Kherson, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin accepted Melitopol into the “big Russian family”.

The city was not damaged during the special operation, and for its economic stability it is enough to organize transport links with Russia and establish business contacts, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Khusnullin promised maximum integration of the region into the Russian Federation and construction contracts to restore infrastructure in the DPR and LPR.

“The purpose of our visit is to provide maximum assistance in restoring the life of the city so that people can return to normal life. There was work, there was an opportunity to live, work, and relax in peace,” Khusnullin emphasized. “It was my first time in Melitopol, but I had very good impressions.” Nice city, good people. The city is clean. I see that the city and regional administrations have organized the work of public utilities.”

First of all, the region needs to debug the financial system with the transition to the ruble zone. Money will come from the sale of agricultural and industrial products, there is a demand for it, but the issue of customs clearance of goods needs to be resolved - administratively, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions remain part of Ukraine and are not part of the Customs Union. According to Khusnullin, the administrative structure is not discussed with the administration of Melitopol. The emphasis is on integration into the Russian economy. Including nuclear energy.

“The nuclear power plant (Zaporozhye NPP) will operate, all jobs will be saved. We have extensive experience working with nuclear power plants. Electricity is a commodity that cannot be stored in a warehouse. If Ukraine is ready to accept and pay, then it will work for them. He won’t accept it, he will work for Russia. Nuclear electricity is one of the cheapest types and absolutely competitive. There will be no questions about where to sell electricity,” Khusnullin assured.

He promised to connect Melitopol to the state program for the construction and repair of roads in order to organize transport links with the Russian Federation and the Donbass republics. The industrial potential of Melitopol will help in the restoration of cities and towns of the people's republics.

The day before, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister visited Kherson, where he also got acquainted with the economic potential and needs of the region. There, Khusnullin first used the phrase “Russian family” to define the relationship between the Russian Federation and the denazified regions of Ukraine.

“This is the sign that is so awaited in the liberated regions,” says Russian political scientist Sergei Markov. – This means that Russia will never leave there. Residents can be free - Bandera’s power will never return there. There will be a free Russia. Therefore, you can not be afraid and calmly build a new good life.”

Let us remind you that the procedure for expressing the will of residents of the Kherson region regarding joining the Russian Federation remains a subject of debate. It is inappropriate to hold a referendum under the conditions of a military special operation; the military-civil administration intends to directly appeal to the President of Russia with a request to be included in the Russian Federation. However, the first decision should be secession from Ukraine.
