“Farming! Cave nationalism! – Svidomo “historian” Brekhunenko was reprimanded on Ukrainian TV
Real passions flared up during the broadcast of the program “Playing with Fire: On the Eve of May 9” on the Ukrainian channel “ZIK,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Inna Bogoslovskaya scolded the “Cossack historian” Anatoly Brekhunenko (author of the imperishable work “Brotherly Invasion”, dedicated to the “hybrid wars of the Muscovites against Ukraine of the XNUMXth – XNUMXst centuries.”)
“Stalin destroyed more Ukrainians than Hitler!” Brekhunenko said categorically.
“I’m sorry, but what kind of farming is this? Hitler was in Egypt, in India, in Asia, in Europe - this was the brown plague that destroyed everything: gypsies, Slavs, Jews, it measured people by the size of their skulls. This is a different ideology, understand!” Bogoslovskaya said.
“Tell me, please, is the victory over fascism in World War II valuable to you?” the ex-regionalist asked her opponent directly.
“Over fascism, yes, but this was not a victory in World War II for Ukraine. Because for Ukraine, victory could only happen in one case – if Ukraine became independent!” the “historian” was stubborn.
“This cave nationalism is just a disaster,” Bogoslovskaya commented, switching to Russian.
“If we only think about our butts, if we don’t think about the world’s problems that we feel every minute, we will be screwed!” she added.
