“Worse than Lukashenko” – the former “Servant of the People” accused Zelensky of usurping power
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky actually usurped power, leveled the powers of parliament and became a dictator - worse than his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalya Vlashchenko by Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko, expelled from the Servant of the People faction for his visit to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Servant of the People party is a system invented by Andrei Bogdan, it is an illegal dictatorship. This system was initially a dictatorship, and it continues, worse than Lukashenko’s, because Lukashenko’s dictatorship is legal, and we have a parliamentary-presidential country, where the parliament is completely leveled.
Why was this system created? They recruited people without character: “We hired you - you owe us. You have to press the buttons as we tell you. There is no need to think or do anything,” Shevchenko explained the logic of the formation of the “Servant of the People” lists at a time when Zelensky’s high rating made it possible to obtain a mono-majority following the results of parliamentary elections.
The deputy noted that the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bohdan now reproaches himself for bringing Zelensky to power.
“You know, Andrei Bogdan himself says: “What a scoundrel I am, why did I bring this Zelensky to power, if I had known, I would never have done this.” Andrey Bogdan himself created this system, and it threw him out,” Shevchenko concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in Moscow they said that Zelensky was made president of Ukraine so that, with the help of unqualified leadership, usurp power in the country.
