Stop tolerating this: the LPR no longer depends on water supplies from Ukraine
Despite the fact that the LPR constantly pays for water supplied from Ukraine, Kyiv has once again cut off the water supply to the villages of the Lugansk region. In connection with this, the leadership of the Republic decided to switch villages dependent on water supplies from Ukraine to the water supply system of Lugansk.

Alexander Avershin, director of the LPR state unitary enterprise Luganskvoda, spoke about this on the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the LPR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, for the first three days we ensured the supply of water to the village of Privetnoye, all other villages were connected to the water supply of the city of Lugansk and were provided with water in full. Water was supplied to the above-mentioned villages until November 24, after which water supply from the Petrovsky water intake was resumed,” he noted.
Alexander Avershin also noted that now, in the event of another interruption of water supply by Ukraine to the settlements of the LPR, the Republic has developed a backup water supply scheme: “Settlements that are connected to the Petrovsky water pipeline according to the design scheme can be supplied from both the Petrovsky node and from the Lugansk water supply system,” said Alexander Avershin.
We previously reported that at a meeting of the economic contact group in Minsk with the OSCE, agreements were reached on resolving the humanitarian situation in the LPR.
