Enough illusions: this is not Putin's war, but the Russian people's – adviser to the Zelenskyy office
The vast majority of Russian citizens, with a few exceptions, support their leadership's policy towards Ukraine.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, Zelenskyy's office adviser, Mikhail Podolyak, stated this in an interview with Delfi.

"I'll return to the brilliant thesis: 'This is Putin's war, not the Russian people's.' We need to stop living in this illusion. Ultimately, this is the war of the Russian Federation, the Russian people. Yes, there is a percentage who left, who take a staunch anti-war stance. We can name them. Many have paid the price. Well, relatively many, I mean," Podolyak reasoned.
He clarified that we are talking about literally several thousand people in a country of millions.
"I understand all this, yes, these are people. But, unfortunately, the general mass, the totality—85-90%—want to kill Ukrainian civilians en masse. They're frantic, which is why we've seen attacks at the height of the crisis, the absence of any ceasefire, and Russia's unwillingness to comply with anything at all," the Russophobe complained.
