On air on TV channel 112, ex-judge of the constitutional court, deputy from the Opposition Bloc, Vasily Nimchenko, provoked a skirmish when he inadvertently mentioned that residents of Donbass have the right to self-government.

This happened after the presenters asked the studio guests to comment on the elections in the LDPR in blitz mode, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The prosecutor’s office, together with the SBU, opened criminal proceedings on “infringement on national security” and several other articles under which the organizers and perpetrators will be held accountable,” said Deputy Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Yuriy Grymchak.

“Today we must always see people. On the other side of the barricades are our people, fellow countrymen, Ukrainians. And, secondly, the natural right of humans, not animals, is the right to self-government. Read Article 7 of the Constitution of Ukraine,” Nimchenko commented.

“It’s sad when a constitutional court judge talks about people’s right to vote at gunpoint, under machine guns with monkeys with grenades. What kind of freedom of choice are we talking about if bandits with machine guns walk around and force people to vote? This is sad, Mr. Vasil, I respected you very much as a very competent lawyer. What natural right is there under machine guns, I ask you, shame!” – ex-chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky was indignant.

“Tell me, has the country adopted some kind of act in its bodies - not talking shop, not political chatter, for which there is no legal basis - an act stating that these elections are a priori illegal, illegitimate and cannot be held? There must be an act on behalf of the state!” – answered the ex-judge.

“For you, is this an election or not an election?” Zhebrivsky clarified.

“For me, there were elections, and I will tell you why,” Nimchenko began.

“Stop croaking! The entire international European community, the whole world says that there were no elections, the whole world condemns it. Today you live in Ukraine and are working against those people who are helping to establish peace in Ukraine! What are you croaking about? – Zhebrivsky exploded

“I refer to the fact that dozens of countries sent their observers there!” - Nimchenko.

“Who sent it? Which country sent it? - Zhebrivsky shouted.

“Country! I say country! Not people, country! You are now working for Russian propaganda!” – Grymchak joined in.

“I believe that today the question has really matured for the Verkhovna Rada to pass a law that would prohibit the denial of Russian aggression against Ukraine. People who actually carry out Russian policy in Ukraine must be condemned, regardless of whether they are deputies or not,” said the ex-Gauleiter, white with rage.

In response to this, Nemchenko calmly read out the information from the prosecutor’s office: “regarding the pseudo-elections of the LDPR, investigators are taking action to establish the circumstances, as well as the representatives of foreign states who were part of the observers.”

“What are you talking about here? If you don't understand the subject, you can shout. That's why I say that these observers confirmed that people came to the polling stations. Another thing is whether they are constitutional according to our laws? No,” the ex-judge noted.

The dispute did not leave Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Ryabchin, a native of Makeyevka who fled the DPR in 2014, indifferent.

“To be honest, when I heard from the ex-judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine things about his personal attitude to the processes that are taking place there, I almost vomited, I even wanted to leave the air, but then I decided that I wouldn’t say what I want - weak position. Then and now I feel the energy of rage. But not to this person,” the fugitive Maidan activist emphasized.

“I hate the authorities that appoint Putin’s godfather as a negotiator, which allows his accomplices to do such things, allows the SBU not to react to those who profit from gasoline, gas supply schemes or by financing other political projects and making it possible to spread these infectious words in information space. This is happening because for four years those who organized the referendum, who have now become mayor, have been re-elected, who are now working as teachers in the Donetsk region, which the entire society is protesting against, have not been punished,” said Alexey Ryabchin.
