We’ve had enough of these “overcomes” – the Stockholm jubilation in Ukraine is giving way to disappointment

Former deputy of the Odessa City Council Dmitry Spivak, who previously actively supported the Maidan and stated that Odessa “is not a Russian city,” comes to this conclusion on his Facebook page.
“I don’t understand a damn thing. If the decision of the Stockholm arbitration is our next victory, then why do we have problems with gas? Has Gazprom stirred up something there? So, what did we expect? And by the way, we have been buying gas for two years now in Europe, in Slovakia, as the authorities claimed. Some kind of needle got off there. Entered the market. And now what happens is that as soon as Gazprom turns the valve, “European” gas is running out for us? And immediately problems? Where is our own gas? Still, they shouted that there was plenty of it,” the politician is perplexed.
“In general, an interesting trend is emerging. With each new victory we achieve, life for ordinary people becomes more and more difficult and more expensive... But if we talk about it out loud, then this is evil. Therefore, in order to avoid further problems, I suggest that we all do without problems for at least a year,” Spivak urges. “Look, we’ll improve our lives...”
