Cyberattack in Ukraine? The largest bank in Crimea, RNCB, started having problems
The largest bank in Crimea, RNKB, is operating intermittently due to technical problems. It is impossible to make transfers online, the terminals do not work, and only cash is accepted in trading floors, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The RNKB press service confirmed that there are currently technical problems and assured that they will be eliminated in the near future.
“Dear clients, at the moment there is an unstable operation of some services. We are already troubleshooting and restoring services. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the bank’s press service noted.
In February 2022, Kyiv officially announced the creation of “IT troops” for “offensive operations in cyber warfare,” which target not only military targets. In the special community “Ukrainian Cyber Troops” they report almost daily on hackings and dirty tricks.
One of the latest cases is interference in the work of Russian providers, which caused problems in the systems of mobile operators, Alfa Bank, Sberbank, Lukoil, etc.
