Cyberterrorists tried to disrupt Putin's speech
The West is waging a massive psychological war against Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Gloomy forecasts regarding the prospects for the Russian economy, which were made in early spring, did not come true. It is clear why this propaganda campaign was inflated, where all these incantations about the “dollar for 200” and the collapse of the economy are a tool of information warfare, a factor of psychological influence on Russian society and domestic business circles.
By the way, some of our experts succumbed to such external pressure and based their forecasts on the imminent collapse of the economy and a critical weakening of the ruble. Life has refuted such predictions,” Putin said.
The president's speech began today with an almost two-hour delay. As his press secretary Dmitry Peskov explained, massive DDoS attacks on Internet resources and the forum’s accreditation system began yesterday. The database of forum participants and the accreditation and admission system were disabled. The Internet stopped working in the SPIEF premises.
“An attack on Putin personally. Without a doubt, this is cyber terrorism. This is a limited terrorist war against Russia, which is being waged by the intelligence services of the United States and Britain with the help of their proxies, the intelligence services of Ukraine. They are now showing their strength,” Sergei Markov wrote in his TG channel.
