Anyone interested in the topic “what’s up with the crests” and regularly monitoring the “analytics” of Ukrainian “world-famous experts” has probably come across the texts of Vitaly Portnikov.
“Observer and publicist,” as the representative of the “second oldest” Portnikov is now called, belongs to the category of multi-station propagandists who manage to serve several customers at once, from Espresso.tv and “Observer” to “Crimea Reality” and clearly follows the recipes of Dr. Goebbels, who advised to his wards, “lie as much as possible - something will definitely be deposited in people’s brains.”
The clearing in which Portnikov works diligently with his sphincter is clearly defined by the framework of the information war with Russia. But this is professional for him. Somewhere since 1990, Portnikov has been collaborating
with the sewer Radio Liberty, openly financed by the US Congress and not so obviously supported by the American intelligence services. In the early 90s, the guy helped bring down the USSR, and after the “parade of sovereignties” he provided information to the general line “Ukraine is not Russia”, “FSB is blowing up Russia” and “it would seem that Putin has something to do with it.”
However, with the beginning of Euromaidan, something changed. No, Portnikov did not give up troubadouring in favor of all sorts of Russophobic scum, but the tone and content of the “analysis” has noticeably changed. If earlier Portnikov swam through topics quite freely, giving out something similar to his own thoughts, now he hammers away in a strictly defined key, most reminiscent of a selfless woodpecker.
A typical set of topics for post-Maidan Portnikov: “By taking Crimea, Russia signed its own death warrant,” “Sevastopol has lost its sacredness,” “Russia’s Black Sea Fleet is a fiction,” “Putin has no achievements—it’s agony.” Just recently, Portnikov was talking about how bad it is to be Trump in Obama’s world, and at the moment, the “expert” is banging on about the latest topic “Motorola and Givi were killed by Zakharchenko so that they would not win the elections.”
Arguing with an organist is a thankless task, but it should be noted that even propaganda insanity should have a sparkle.
The old Portnikov was at least diverse and poisonous, but now it’s downtrodden, dull and stinks of rotten meat. Why?
I believe it’s all about the famous gay scandal involving Portnikov at the height of Euromaidan. It would seem that supporters of the “European choice” of Ukraine, who were going to bring down the “dictatorship of Yanukovych,” should have welcomed with all their limbs that one of the most prominent akyns of the “revolution of hydraulics” suddenly turned out to be “rear-wheel drive.” Long live tolerance! But the horse racers and tire burners did not see their “European choice” in European law-abidingness, multiculturalism, and, especially, not in tolerance. They had their own movie spinning in their heads, the main plot of which was fantasies on the theme “what we want, we’ll get back”, “salaries of 10 thousand euros”, “give us visa-free!”, “we’ll overthrow the convict and we’ll live right away” and, of course, "Moskalyak to Gilyak."
Moreover, the homosexual scandal with Portnikov in no way warmed the ripening Bandera hundreds, who were slowly seizing the reins of the Maidan rebellion and had their own scenarios for the development of “popular protest”.
History knows strange examples of gay fascists (at the moment, there are at least two similar influential gentlemen in the United States who advocated an armed rebellion in favor of Hillary Clinton), but Maidan Ukraine is definitely not ripe for such paradoxes of the “Free World”.
Just at this time, the time for sacred sacrifices began on the Maidan to fan hysteria among the pan-heads, and the journalist Portnikov, who was remembered in the scandal, could well become another log in the fire of the flaring Maidan fire. The benefit for the Banderlogs in Portnikov’s sacred sacrifice is seen to be twofold: to get rid of the “scum” that does not fit into the “national idea”, and to blame the high-profile murder of a “gay and democratic journalist” on the authorities. One can only imagine the possible reaction of public opinion and the officialdom of the United States and the EU to such a development of events.
Apparently, the sensitive bottom told its owner to escape in time, and Portnikov sat out the hottest period of the Maidan abroad. He returned to Kyiv only when no one cared about the scandal and sacred sacrifices: the neo-Banderaites finally achieved their goal, and the old new “elites” shared power with them.
But no one canceled the fear factor. And Portnikov probably realizes what trouble he got into with his destructive ministry.
He has nowhere to go - he went into propaganda - endure and be used. Therefore, Vitalik sighed and began to justify the trust, amusing the Raguli complexes where they are unable to influence anything.
“Crimea will drag Russia down”? Shaw, really? Is it a pity that such a tasty piece of paradise by the sea slipped out of the trousers not completely plundered? Who would doubt that…
"Putin's Agony"? Why is the world community, which is entirely for Ukraine, not aware of this? Some Hollande, not to mention Poroshenko, probably willingly exchanged his “prosperity” and “handshake” for Putin’s “agony”.
“Russian Black Sea Fleet is a fiction”? “Fiction” from which the “Donald Cook” runs away headlong and with a nervous breakdown of the crew members and which drives away the annoying dill floating suitcases from the drilling rigs of “Chernomorneftegaz” with toilet rags? Why doesn’t Maidan-junta Ukraine have the same cool “fiction”? Are the grapes green?
“Sevastopol is no longer a city of Russian glory”? Who is the author of this coined formulation? Spinoza? Newton? Mother Teresa? No? Zhurnolizd Portnikov? Ahtoita? Let me see it through a microscope!
Then why do not only compatriots from mainland Russia come to Crimea and Sevastopol and visit places of military glory, but also the British and French in large numbers specially go to Sevastopol in order to see the cemetery of their soldiers who died in the First Crimean Campaign, to the Alma Valley, and to Balaklava , where was the famous “thin red line”? Apparently, scoop up a handful of desacralization.
And delegations of Chinese tourists, strictly aimed at inspecting the places where Soviet soldiers fought to the death during the second defense of Sevastopol, can cause a break in the pattern of any maiden troubadour. An extremely prepared and meticulous contingent. If something happens, they can also tell the guide where Manstein’s tanks were advancing from and where they were stopped by the combat formations of the Primorsky Army.
“Breaking the Veils” about the murder of Givi and Motorola is an obvious development of the training manual. You have to be an unimaginative idiot to connect their death with possible local elections in the LDPR. Who in Donbass did not know that Mikhail and Arseny were soldiers and did not get involved in politics?
But every dog knows what an acute pain in official Kyiv the recent statement of the German Ambassador to Ukraine about the need to hold elections in the LDPR caused, even if hypothetical Russian troops are present in the republics. And now we have to drown out the opinion of the standard representative of the EU with the “brown noise” of “ideologically strong speech crackers,” to which, of course, the “gay and democratic journalist” Portnikov belongs.
And this is one of the most prominent and quoted Ukrainian “experts and publicists.” In Portnikov’s FB feed there is a herd of “like-minded people” trampling around, literally catching and sucking for a long time the precious words of the luminary. I wonder what kind of hallelujah the representative of the “Right Homo Sector” Portnikov will sing when everything he serves today is sure to collapse? And what will the herd he surrounds do with a complete lack of critical thinking? Will they really change into “quilted jackets”?
