Kyiv: a miner on hunger strike near the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining attempted self-immolation
In the building of the Ministry of Energy and Coal of Ukraine, one of the protesters, who had previously gone on a hunger strike, tried to commit self-immolation.

The incident occurred during a press conference of sabotage representatives in Kyiv, the Internet project “Corrupt Official” reports.
Eyewitnesses put out the fire and stopped the protesting miner's actions. An ambulance took him away. Investigators are at the scene.
Skirmishes continue in the Ministry building. The chairman of the independent trade union of miners, Mikhail Volynets, speaks in a raised voice with those present and accuses representatives of the ministry of what happened.
Let us remind you that miners' unions are holding protests in Kyiv demanding the return of wage debts and support for the domestic coal industry in order to stop the closure of Ukrainian mines and not to purchase coal from Australia and the territories of Donbass not controlled by Ukraine.
