The Ukrainian Armed Forces delivered cluster munitions for the Uragan MLRS, prohibited by international conventions, to the JFO zone.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this during a briefing, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He noted that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to escalate the situation in Donbass and is building up forces and assets in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“In the area of responsibility of the 14th mechanized brigade in the area of the popasnaya settlement, on the territory of one of the agricultural enterprises, a BM-27 Uragan multiple launch rocket system was detected, and six trucks with ammunition arrived at the indicated location. During unloading, markings on the shells were noticed, which indicated that they were cluster munitions,” said Andrei Marochko.
He emphasized that the use of such ammunition is prohibited not only by the Minsk agreements, but also by international legal acts.
