Ruslan Bortnik, head of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, let’s be honest, Belarus acts as a platform for the penetration of Ukrainian goods into the EurAsEC markets - not only into Belarus, but into the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan. This often happens under the guise of Belarusian goods. If we look at our volumes of exports to Belarus of the same food products, mechanical engineering or chemicals, we understand that Belarus is unable to consume such volumes of goods,” Bortnik noted. “In the future, these goods penetrate through Belarus into our traditional markets, which are today blocked due to the deterioration of relations between Ukraine and Russia.”
