“There is a lull now, but we’ll see what happens after the local elections if the Russian side is not satisfied with their result,” the publication’s interlocutor noted. – This needs to be predicted. The conflict in Donbass has not been resolved or frozen, it has only been temporarily suspended. How to proceed further, what to prepare for, what scenarios for the development of the situation to bring to negotiations - all this should be analyzed by specialists. Roughly speaking, we have now left everything in uncertainty: we are neither ready to cut off the region nor can we reintegrate it on our own terms. We need to look for a way out."
According to the source, it is planned to discuss options not with the DPR and LPR, but with Russia, and the employees of the new center will have to suggest from what positions.
