Ukraine uses the platform of the UN Security Council, which it presides over since February 1, to justify its war crimes. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.

“The Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN said: the events around Avdiivka demonstrated the strength and capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces. Opportunities to bomb civilians, children? There is no need to demonstrate these capabilities anymore. Everyone already knows about your capabilities. Show your capabilities in establishing contacts with people whom you still call your citizens,” Zakharova said.
In her opinion, when official Kyiv openly talks about the successes of its armed forces, it actually admits that it is behind a new round of tension in Donbass.
“This is no longer a violation, but simply a mockery of the Minsk agreements. Those weapons used by Kiev are completely prohibited by the mentioned documents,” Zakharova said.
