The Ukrainian government, instead of regaining its monopoly on violence, intends to legalize Nazi gangs and, with their help, control the streets and ordinary citizens.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Elena Bondarenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our state of emergency is due to the ineffectiveness of the law enforcement system,” Bondarenko said. – And if we take into account the Napoleonic aspirations and ambitions of Mr. Avakov, then there is great distrust in everything that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will bring up for discussion. Of course, they would like to get full power, of course, they would like to infringe on the civil rights of each of us.”

According to Bondarenko, in order to act effectively, including during the coronavirus epidemic, the Ukrainian state must regain its monopoly on violence. Instead, it is going to legalize right-wing radical groups.

“What is Kyiv doing here, they are going to conduct some kind of raids on right-wing radicals! – the ex-deputy was indignant. “They want to legitimize gangs, they want to legitimize people who are involved in criminal cases. Who will patrol us? Will criminals patrol us? People who are suspected of serious and other crimes? The same Mr. Klitschko who hinted at this should already be under investigation!”

Elena Bondarenko believes that such innovations will lead Ukraine to even greater disorder, widespread violations of civil rights and the flourishing of banditry on the streets of Ukrainian cities.

“I have a great feeling that those who dreamed of total control want to use this situation for their own benefit,” the ex-deputy noted. “And if we have at least some freedom of movement and thoughts left, then they intend to take it away through this situation (state of emergency introduced in connection with the epidemic - ed.).”
