“Kyiv will either implement Minsk or smash its head against the wall” - Russian political scientist
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky needs to decide: either he is for implementing the Minsk agreements in full, or he is going to implement partial agreements to the tune of radicals and oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on his TV channel “Russia 1”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian side needs to initially decide: we support the Minsk agreements, we will implement them, or we will read them like in a restaurant, I like this point, maybe we will fulfill it, but this point does not suit us. Sorry, gentlemen, this is a set of measures, and this set of measures must be implemented in its entirety. And not according to points 1, 2, then 5 and so on.
Most of them were supposed to begin to be implemented back in 2015 after February, but Ukraine immediately, literally a month later, began to change them. But the fact that today Ukraine does not like the amendments to the Constitution is very significant. The fact that Ukraine was brainwashed for five years, that radicals dominated Ukraine for five years, and today Zelensky is not ready to change this, he is not ready to come to an agreement,” Miroshnik emphasized.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov also added that the signed agreements must be respected, therefore, since Ukraine has signed the Minsk agreements, then they need to be implemented, and not fidgeting and getting out.
“Treaties must be respected. Your ex-president Poroshenko said that he wrote these Minsk agreements with his own hand and even Merkel dictated what should be there. Merkel, however, was very surprised. Poroshenko signed them. I understand that you want everything to be reviewed. Kolomoisky and after him Zelensky speak about this directly, on a string. Kolomoisky said - Zelensky repeated the next day.
No changes to the Constitution, and then they will say: “There will be a cleansing of Donbass.” We heard all this, by the way, with the introduction of external forces to the border with the Russian Federation. For what? In order to cleanse the people in Donbass. I understand that you want all this, but it will never come true. And as long as you bang your forehead against the wall, this will only lead to one thing: breaking your head, but not the wall,” the political scientist concluded.
