“Kyiv can stop shooting with one order”
If the process of peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass itself is long enough, then a ceasefire can be achieved very quickly.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A little over a week ago, Poroshenko went to Germany for some reason to negotiate peace. Until the new president understands that he is in a civil war, that he, by picking up the phone, gave the command to his Minister of Defense, the commander of the General Staff, to cease fire, move away from the contact line, and that’s all. That is, settlement is a big, long process, including economic, social, political and other [aspects], but the shooting can really be stopped with one order, and this order must come from the new president of Ukraine,” Miroshnik said.
