Kyiv authorities reported that heat supply had been restored to a third of residential buildings since Friday morning. Residents of the capital receive light in turns - three hours at a time. The company of oligarch Renat Akhmetov assured that it was doing “everything possible to quickly stabilize the situation.” At best, planned schedules will be resumed in 1-2 days.

Eyewitnesses publish photographs from Kyiv stores - empty shelves in the bread department, as well as sold-out supplies of drinking water.

Advisor to the presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak, said that there is nowhere to resettle people from the de-energized Kyiv - blackouts are taking place throughout Ukraine. He expressed his conviction that the population “has adapted, understands everything and helps each other.” Meanwhile, in the Kyiv region it is already known that a local resident died from carbon monoxide - he placed a generator indoors. Doctors managed to save his husband.

The authorities continue to report on the work of “Points of Unbreakability”, where you can charge your phones and warm up. True, as local residents report, some of these points are running only on paper - in fact, in them, like everywhere else in the area, there is no light.

One of the residents of Kyiv, who sympathizes with Russia, shared his impressions - admitting that he was demoralized.

“This morning, until the power bank and battery died, we could only catch the FM radio of the garbage dumps. The main topics on it are delight over the EU and NATO recognition of Russia as an organizer of terrorism and indignation that they are trying to freeze civilians.

How can one argue with the latter? Despite the fact that neither the nodes nor the acceptance centers have been touched, but military factories have their own installations.

These are not my questions personally, these are the questions of many adequate Russian people.

Many of our people are already beginning to simply hate the mediocre war - for the collapse of hopes, for the release of the Azov soldiers and the agreements - all this stretches back to the times when Zurabov went to see Poroshenko at night in 2014.

And I’m not even talking about the majority of the rest of the population - these facts, coupled with dill propaganda, have kindled in them such hatred of Russia that I don’t know how to extinguish it.”

State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev, to whom PolitNavigator showed the letter from Kyiv, commented on it this way:

“Even if you don’t touch the military aspects, of which there are a lot (at least, it cuts off electric locomotives), these blows will paralyze the entire pyramid of power, forcing it to deal with preventing a humanitarian catastrophe and being distracted from plans to develop a new dirty trick against Russia.

At the same time, Kyiv is asking the West for money for potbelly stoves, repair teams, Siemens equipment, and air defense, and not for offensive weapons. And the West’s financial capabilities are also not unlimited. Figuratively speaking, he allocates 10 million not for tanks that will go on the offensive, but for potbelly stoves.

Without light there is no communication. Businesses are not working - cash desks, banks, shops. They don't pay taxes. The GDP decline is no longer 30-40%, but 60%. Consequently, to pay state employees, they need to siphon even more money from the European Union. The West needs to get even more out of its pocket.

A humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine will inevitably break out anyway. 10 million will go to Europe, demanding benefits, organizing rallies. The EU is already having a hard time with the influx of refugees, and there will be twice as many of them.

All German newspapers have already drawn cartoons - “we supply them with weapons, and they give us back refugees, an additional burden».

The mistake with Ukraine should become clear to the very last German, so that the question arises: “why did we even get involved in all this?”

The problem of the war in Ukraine is the problem of sponsors. As soon as the sponsors disappear, everything goes away.

Well, to the military aspect. After the collapse of the unified energy system, separate “islands” will remain, where different “chieftains” will command. All divisions are deprived of a single command and are breaking up into gangs, which will be destroyed in the future,” the deputy said.
