Kyiv will not hold negotiations with Donbass - AP
Kyiv, July 09 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Administration of the President of Ukraine states that official Kyiv will not negotiate with representatives of the proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics.

“We are not yet talking about any official negotiations with terrorists; this is unacceptable. But the contact group, which has already met with the participation of the OSCE, Ambassador Zurabov and Leonid Kuchma, is ready to continue these consultations,” said Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valery Chaly.
He believes that, for its part, Ukraine has done everything to resolve the situation in the eastern regions peacefully.
“We have a common understanding of where we are and what steps need to be taken. “As for steps, the ball is not in Ukraine’s court today, because Ukraine has taken all the steps necessary to move to a peaceful settlement,” he said.
Chaly added that today “there is no adequate response from the other side.”
As Navigator reported, earlier DPR Prime Minister Alexander Borodai said that the republic is ready to continue multilateral consultations.
