Kyiv: unknown persons in balaclavas robbed a jewelry store, injuring a security guard
In the Dnieper district of Kyiv, unknown persons attacked a jewelry store and fled in a car.

This was reported by the press secretary of the main department of the National Police in Kyiv, Oksana Blishchik.
“We received a report of a robbery at a jewelry store in the Dnieper district of Kyiv: two unknown men in masks entered the premises, shot at a security guard and, threatening with a weapon, took away jewelry. The attackers fled the scene in a red car. The amount of damage is being established,” the spokeswoman wrote.
Oksana Blishchik reported that an investigative team, forensic experts and operatives are working at the scene of the incident. Vehicle orientation has been transferred to all vehicle patrols. The police are looking for the attackers.
“A security guard with a gunshot wound to the leg was taken to the hospital and is receiving the necessary medical care,” she said.
The press secretary added that the police began criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
