Kyiv is aggravating the situation in the Gorlovka direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are rapidly gathering military equipment and weapons in the Gorlovka direction, and are also carrying out a number of events indicating preparations for an offensive in this area.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the situation in the Gorlovka direction remains tense. DPR intelligence continues to record enemy preparations for active hostilities in the north of the Republic.
“On the south-eastern outskirts of Artyomovsk, the brigade artillery group of the 72nd mechanized brigade conducted training on occupying positions, preparing and conducting fire. The training involved 2 self-propelled artillery divisions (18 units of 122-mm self-propelled guns 2S1 "Gvozdika" and 12 units of 152-mm self-propelled guns 2S3 "Akatsiya"), a rocket artillery division (12 units of MLRS "Grad") and an anti-tank artillery division ( 12 units of 100-mm MT-12 cannons),” said Daniil Bezsonov.
According to his information, the training was led by war criminals: the commander of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade Tatus and the commander of the artillery group Krivenko. Also, in the units of the 1st Tank Brigade in the area of the settlement of Spornoe, a review of the readiness of equipment to perform tasks for its intended purpose was carried out with the issuance of reports.
“In addition, DPR intelligence recorded the work of the head of the logistics center Kokhanovsky in the formations and divisions of the occupation forces to check the availability of material and technical means. The commission worked in the 81st airmobile brigade in Kramatorsk and is starting work in the 58th mechanized brigade near the village of Dzerzhinsk,” added the representative of the DPR operational command.
He also reported the transfer of heavy artillery weapons to the area.
“We have received information about the arrival at the Konstantinovka railway station and subsequent departure to the areas of the settlements of Tarasovka and Ivanovka, a howitzer self-propelled artillery division (18 units of 122-mm self-propelled guns 2S1 “Gvozdika”) and an anti-tank artillery division (12 units of 100-mm guns MT-12) of the 93rd mechanized brigade, respectively,” Daniil Bezsonov noted in conclusion.
